Training objectives

  • To identify challenges in meeting the needs of pupils with SEND within the mainstream primary school.

  • To explore practical strategies for supporting pupils with SEND in the mainstream primary school.

  • To consider what appropriate provision, expectations and outcomes are for pupils with a range of SEND within the mainstream primary school.

Learning outcomes

  • To have established ideas which can be used within mainstream primary settings to support pupils with SEND.

  • To have an increased understanding of what appropriate, meaningful expectations and provision are for pupils with SEND in the mainstream primary context.
