The Primary Science Network provides opportunities to collaborate and share good practice with other Science leads across the city. From progression within the subject to useful resources, the group is led by the needs of those attending so that it can be as useful as possible to those joining.
- Explore the impact of lockdown on children and identify a range of strategies to use as AfL for the beginning of a unit to make sure all children are challenged appropriately
- Discuss what support and challenge (differentiation) looks like in Science
Meetings 2 and 3
To offer current and up-to-date training for science leaders
To be able to have professional discussions and to share ideas and expertise.
Dario Recchia and Holly Thompson will be leading the meetings.
Please note there are three meetings, it is not mandatory to attend all three, you can attend however many as you wish.
Be able to use a range of activities to identify children’s differing starting points.
